“Hibiscus sabdariffa” Hibiscus has a cranberry-like flavor with citrus overtones. Use the slightly acidic petals sparingly in salads or as garnish. In Mexico, hibiscus flowers are used to make Jamaico, a cool drink infusion and to flavor ice cream and sorbet. Precautions: Avoid using if you have gallstones.
