There’s a mysterious, otherworldly quality to it- like a key to a place I haven’t been before. I carry it with me through the day; it feels grounding, raw and nurturing, like I’m wrapped in Mother Nature herself. I love how considered every detail of this brand is- from the refillable atomiser to the use of local ingredients and renewable energy. I especially appreciate that $5 from every refill goes to the Tasmanian Land Conservancy- such a beautiful way to honour country. The gorgeous box has such a lovely tactile quality, that I didn’t want to throw it away. The second is that the scent itself has such a sense of magic to it. It’s incredibly energising (as well as unique, special and beautiful), so it didn’t surprise me at all that the inspiration was the Tasmanian rainforest- a magical place in itself, that is prone to being really energising and restorative to be in! I loved that I wasn’t trying to find notes in this gorgeously refined perfume. Instead, I experienced it as a whole. How clever a formula it must be to force me to only enjoy it like that. Beautiful! The transparency, small-batch ethos and commitment to local and female-led businesses create a beautifully grounded and clearly values-led brand. There’s such great depth and breadth in these priorities which is just so impressive. The box and the branding is very pretty and well designed. I love that there’s a bit of a story on the box in relation to the scent. Customers love a perfume story! I love how this brand has their ingredient list clear and detailed on their perfume. Transparency in perfume is hard to come by and they clearly have nothing to hide.
