Amelia Davatzis What I like most about this product is how seamlessly it fits into my daily skincare routine while offering high-level sun protection without compromising on skin health or environmental ethics. It feels nourishing and breathable on the skin, with no heavy residue or irritation, something that’s rare for high-SPF products. I also appreciate the thoughtful formulation using organic, non-toxic ingredients and the brand’s transparent, ethical approach to production, packaging and marketing. It truly feels like a product made with care for both people and the planet. I’m impressed by Mad Margot’s deeply considered and authentic approach to ethical and sustainable business practices. Their commitment to using Australian-made, certified organic ingredients, combined with manufacturing that meets TGA and FDA standards, reflects a genuine prioritisation of health, transparency and quality. The brand’s use of recyclable glass packaging, soy-based inks and plans for refillable options show long-term vision, while their reef-safe formula and “less is more” ethos highlight a sincere dedication to both environmental and human wellbeing. Their refusal to photoshop models and their focus on education and realness in marketing makes them stand out as a brand with integrity and purpose.Emma Freeman I love the retro vibe of this sunscreen bottle- the white and red design feels delightfully 70s/80s and the solid glass bottle makes me nostalgic for the days when packaging was designed with integrity. The sunscreen itself has a subtle beachy scent and although quite thick, it rubs in surprisingly easily, giving the ultimate sun protection. It doubles beautifully as a daily face moisturiser and primer too (loving the slight tint), thanks to some wonderful skin-nourishing ingredients. Mad Margot really feels like a brand that cares- from their commitment to Australian-made production and sourcing to choosing organic, reef-safe ingredients and using recyclable glass bottles instead of single-use plastic. I also love their focus on education around sun safety and the no-filter approach to marketing.Lauren L. Hill Mad Margot has the coolest branding and packaging that I’ve seen in sunscreen. The clean lines, and bold glass bottle is truly one of a kind. Their Day Creme is an innovative take on a full body SPF, loaded with hydrating botanical oils. It packs a double punch and makes sunscreen feel like skin care. I like the hydrating barrier it creates without a white cast and am excited to keep it at hand for daily use. It’s not easy to find 100% certified organic sunscreen- and I commend Mad Margot on their commitment to sustainable ingredient sourcing. Their innovative glass bottle packaging is the kind of beautiful bottle that makes sense to leave out on the bench-top to use and admire on the daily.
