The texture is light, it sinks in quickly and the scent is really subtle and lovely. Just feels like a little act of care that your body actually appreciates. I really appreciated the transparency here, especially knowing the founder personally visited the manufacturing facility to check on quality and fair labour practices. That level of care isn’t super common. I also loved the zero-waste approach in their warehouse and the shift to QR codes instead of paper leaflets. I absolutely loved using after doing hair maintenance, it made the skin smooth, plumped and prevented the strawberry skin that I usually get after epilation. It did not sting and I did not react (which I was a bit worried about because I am sensitive to essential oils), really cool product! I love that it comes in a pipette so we can really “measure” the amount we are using. It absorbed quickly which is a plus too! I am gobsmacked and clapping with both hands that the brand is involved in Ivory Coast. This is a country where 37% of women have undergone Female genital mutilation and an oil like this can absolutely make a WORLD of difference for comfort and even if they may be “just” providing “providing menstrual products to women in need” it is still freaking epic as coloured women are often overlooked and period management overlooked- EPIC! I am also pleased to read that even though the products are made in China, there was thoughts given to the fair labor practices.Krystle Rose The scent of rose in this product is so beautiful and feminine. I was very happy to see the Rose and Mugwart Oils in the ingredients list. I also really love the support they are offering to women in the Ivory Coast to access period care.
